GreedFall Download [EXCLUSIVE] PC Game
GreedFall is an action role-playing game developed by Spiders and published by Focus Home Interactive. The game is set in an early 18th century-styled fantasy setting and was released for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on September 10, 2019,[1] and subsequently in a graphically uplifted and performance enhanced version for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S on June 30, 2021.[2]

The player, alongside other settlers, mercenaries, and treasure hunters, explores a remote island where the locals, who are fighting off invading settlers, are protected by supernatural beings. The game includes combat, diplomacy, and stealth. The player's decisions influence and affect the game's story, as well as the relationship between the different factions established on the island.[3] The game also supports enhanced graphical capabilities on the PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox One X.[4]
The game was nominated for "Best RPG" at the 2019 Titanium Awards,[21] for "Game, Original Role Playing" at the NAVGTR Awards,[22] and for "Best Message-Bearer Game", "Best Artistic Design", and "Best Game Setting" at the Pégases Awards 2020.[23]
The PlayStation 4 version of GreedFall sold 13,292 physical copies within its first week on sale in Japan, making it the seventh bestselling retail game of the week in the country.[24] It was confirmed in November 2020 that Greedfall had sold over one million copies worldwide.[25] By May 2022, the game had shipped two million copies.[26]

The news has been confirmed by the official GreedFall Twitter account, which responded to a fan asking about this very topic. The profile responded: "The free version obtained by the PS+ subscription is not eligible for the free upgrade to the PS5 version." Rather interestingly, though, those that subscribe to Xbox Game Pass will receive the free upgrade. The game is currently part of Microsoft's subscription service and an active membership will grant you access to the Xbox Series XS version from tomorrow.
It's an interesting move to make when, if anything, PS Plus subscribers have it worse off than those playing titles via Game Pass. PS Plus members could only redeem the game for one month while Greedfall has been part of Xbox Game Pass for a long time now. We suppose the argument here is that the RPG will one day leave Game Pass, but on day one, PS Plus subscribers must pay for the PS5 upgrade while Xbox Game Pass members don't. How do you react to this? Let us know in the comments below.
Liam grew up with a PlayStation controller in his hands and a love for Metal Gear Solid. Nowadays, he can be found playing the latest and greatest PS5 games as well as supporting Derby County. That last detail is his downfall.
Like, when did it become crime for a business thats trying to run a business charges for its products so it can make money, like a business. I dont understand l, id love to hav everything for free but thats not how the world works. The people who make these games for you need to eat.
Weird decision but no big deal, it'll just stay as another unplayed PS+ game then. I'd have given it a go on the PS5 upgrade, but no chance I'm using my valuable time on an average open worlder at 30fps jank. And no chance I'm paying for an upgrade either.
Regardless, it's yet another bad look for Sony regarding gamepass. I really feel they must have something planned to properly take on MS in the subscription space. As such as some of you may not like it, you can't deny that the industry have embraced the GP model and I don't see it going away anytime soon
Can people stop comparing PS+ to Game Pass, when this is a Games with Gold comparison... Yes we got Greedfall PS4 for free. Should we get the free upgrade when another paid subscription is getting it? No. They are paying monthly for the most up to date games, we are paying for online multiplayer with bonus offerings. Hassle Sony to make PS Now more competitive instead.
@blinx01 Difference is that FF7 is a well made well polished AAA game that got mega good reviews. This on the other hand is, so ive heard, a janky average title at best. I downloaded the free PS+ version and decided to wait for the "free" upgrade just to try it out. Guess i wont be trying it out now because im not paying for a game i have no real interest in.
Now, there aren't that many Games with Gold games that have Series X specific versions (maybe 1 or 2); but the fact is, developers seem to really love Smart Delivery because they keep using it for games (and therefore Xbox games get free upgrades).
Started playing this from ps plus a couple days ago with the thought that "hey this game isn't terrible so I'll play it while the ps5 upgrade comes out" The sour taste from this move plus the overall mediocrity of the game probably means ill just go ahead and delete it.
@Kienda As a PlayStation gamer that is also seriously considering getting an Xbox Series X down the line, I'm still superhappy with the choice I made for PlayStation 5. It has a more interesting line-up than Xbox at the moment for me, and I assume it will continue to stay that way for a while.
@GamingFan4Lyf Yeah because it's not a lot of work. From what I understand it, PS5 versions need a whole new standalone game application, rather than a simple update for the Xbox version to take full advantage of the Xbox series X system. They are having to work with the integrated SSD and the Dualsense haptic feedback to make full use of the PS5. That isn't done in just an update, unfortunately.
@Kienda I think that's a smart choice. If I were running short of games to play, didn't have a backlog, and still gamed for hours every day like when I was younger, I'd have done the same. Same for anyone new to gaming, or not heavily invested in Sony's ecosystem.
I am just happy they gave away the game on PS4 with PS Plus. Even if I had a PS5 I wouldn't care as the PS5 can play the game. I don't care about games on Xbox Series X or One versions either. The upgraded consoles best features for me are quicker load times and steady frame rates. These are the things that make or break a game for me rather than fancy graphics.
Anyone saying one sucks or whatever are clueless or has issues with their own insecurities. There are people still playing Anthem and enjoying it, for goodness sake! We can all have fun whatever console we happen to own. And there are too many games for any of us to complete anyway.
When I'm critical of Sony, or Microsoft, or Nintendo, that's just an opinion onone of their decisions or strategies. I love how Nintendo has focused on indie games, hated the Mario 3D collection, I am supportive of Sony's game rise, hate how heavy the DualSense is, looking forward to Psychonaut 2 most of all, but hate Microsoft buying Bethesda.
If it was TRULY only feasible for a game to be updated for next gen if a version was resold that would be fine. But in most cases the majority of the work has been done, original assets were reduced in quality to get them to run on last gen.
Doesn't bother me really. Microsoft are clearly paying for the upgrade as part of the deal around the game going to Game Pass, and Sony are not for PS Plus. Just one of those things and not worth getting upset over
Greedfall is still currently in Game Pass so it makes sense to have 'both' generations of the game available to play, depending on your hardware. Why not have the 'next' gen version in Game Pass too when the XB1 version is in Game Pass?
As you also said, there is a difference between giving a game away with little/no chance of generating a 'sale' and having a game available to play for a period of time with the possibility of generating a sale (albeit discounted). No doubt, the Devs get 'some' money for every person that opts to play Greedfall via Game Pass - like they do with PS+ (or Gold - as we heard some of the 'deals' during the Apple vs Epic trial) but on Game Pass, they could also get more money from a sale as people want to 'keep' those games after trying them through GP.
@CKFilms If anyone is to "blame", it's Sony. But nooo, god forbid people supporting a polished single player game from a small, talented studio. Just look at Steam reviews for Cyberpunk, or comments on Push Square lol. Everyone is like "OmG It DeServes anoTher ChancE!1!1!", but for Greedfall it's like: HOW DARE THEY SELL US A COMPLETED GAME WITH A BRAND NEW DLC????
GreedFall PS5 upgrade os good. And I was really happy about thenews, because I have it in PS Plus. But now I am straight disappointed. I was gonna play GF sooner or later, as it is a small game (and I have better things to play). And when PS5 Patch news came out, I was really happy - Wow! When I get myself a PS5, I can play enhanced edition of GreedFall! Yay!But now... It is not that kind of game that I want to buy. I mean, if it came with subscription yeah, why not! But I will not pay for it separetly just to play on PS5.They could be a little more humane and offer, maybe, Patch available as paid DLC? Or just straight don't be such Greedy ***** and just offer it is as free upgrade. It is not even a Remaster lmao. Not paying for PS5 version. Not playing PS4 version. Gg 041b061a72
