How to Use the Coritec 450i Dental Milling Machine




The Coritec 450i is a computer-controlled precision milling machine that can produce dental restorations from various non-metal materials. Set-up and Initial Operation




Before using the Coritec 450i, you need to make sure that you have the following requirements:


  • A stable and level surface to place the machine



  • A power supply of 115 V or 230 V



  • A compressed air supply of at least 7 bar and 50 l/min



  • A PC with the control software installed



  • A USB cable to connect the PC and the machine



  • The appropriate tools and materials for your milling project



To set up the machine, follow these steps:


  • Place the machine on the surface and secure it with screws.



  • Connect the power cord to the machine and plug it into a power outlet.

  • Press the start button on the control software.

  • You can monitor the progress of the milling on the screen.



  • When the milling is finished, you will hear a beep sound.



  • Open the door of the machine and remove the finished restoration from the blank holder.



  • Clean the restoration with a brush or compressed air.



  • Clean the inside of the machine with a vacuum cleaner or compressed air.
